Whether we want it or not, the photos we take always represent our current mood and the day's atmosphere. This is a personal take on our work, our lifestyle and our personalities. Sure, we love good music, good books, and we have a respect for the fashion industry. But showing you the books we're reading, the music we enjoy listening to, and the accessories we like to wear bring our job to a whole new level. It's not only about the accessories, or the photos; it is about the individuals who enjoy what they do, and sharing it with others. Just like our design team, we also embed into our pieces (or posts, if you will) the things we've learned on the way.
On my way to the shooting, I had an interesting conversation with the cab driver. He
was the chatty kind, so our talk about the weather, and the things I do, soon turned into a discussion about clichés and classics. He talked about how they're so similar, you can
barely tell the difference. I couldn't help but disagree, for you can always tell when something is a classic - there is no mistake.
It's hard to be unique these days. Almost everything you can think of has either been invented or done. What we're left with is to listen to our gut, do the things we like, and most importantly, be honest. Nothing is new, nothing is a shock, and every story has already been
told. All that you're left with are the classics and the possibility to interpret them your own way.
